The Moorings is a large stylish, comfortable holiday cottage offering self catering accommodation for up to 12 people in 6 double bedrooms in the heart of Whitby, North Yorkshire. It's a spacious Georgian townhouse which provides attractive contemporary decor throughout, top quality Egyptian cotton bed linen, a modern, high gloss kitchen with quartz worktops, 4 shower/bathrooms, groundfloor bamboo flooring and a limestone paved outdoor seating area as well as free wifi/internet access. The house is perfectly situated in a quiet location but it is only a few steps away from shops, restaurants and cafes and just a 5 minute walk to the beach and harbour. The two spacious reception rooms with lots of comfortable sofas and two large flatscreen TVs, Sky Sports package via TalkTalk in main reception, DVD player and X Box allow visitors of all ages to relax and enjoy themselves throughout their stay. With parking in the town centre often difficult the holiday rental has the benefit of its own dedicated private parking area with 3 spaces right opposite the house (and further onstreet parking permits can be supplied on request).
The Moorings is a great place to get together with family or friends for a seaside holiday, birthday celebration or large group reunion in the Whitby area and can also be used as a base for the fabulous coastal walks nearby or on the North Yorkshire Moors National Park.
